Descente Alpine

26FW Collection

Below freezing, on a working slope, it comes down to one question: how to hold heat without giving up the range to move. Four pieces built from that answer.

01

Insulated Jacket

Lightning Yellow / Synthetic insulation

Synthetic insulation mapped to the way the body works on snow. A lighter fill across the shoulders and back leaves the arms free; a denser fill through the chest and waist holds heat where the cold gets in. The high-visibility yellow stays legible on an overcast slope.

02

Shell Jacket + Mid Layer

Glacier Blue / 3L shell and mid layer

A three-layer shell over a mid layer that stands on its own. The shell is cut in three dimensions, so the arms still lift over a thick layer underneath. The mid layer carries a raised collar for the time spent standing still. Both are built to be worn together: nothing bunches at the cuff or the hem.

03

Mid Layer

Black / Technical knit

A mid layer that earns its place on its own. Seams run along the shoulder blades to follow the arm forward, so the fabric never pulls when you plant a pole. The face is finished smooth, so it slides under a shell instead of catching on it.

The first frame is the back. Those seams are the point

04

Down Jacket

Off White / Water-repellent down

For the cold that arrives once you stop moving — the lift, the car park, the walk back. The collar stands to the chin to cut the surface the wind can reach. The down is treated to shed water, so wet snow stays on the outside. The off white is warm enough not to disappear into the snow behind it.
